The Big Space

Further to the group call regarding our desperate need for new committee members, we will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 26 January at 6 p.m in the Big Space, to meet all those parents and carers who would like to offer their support.

We look forward to seeing you then.

The school will be closed for a week and a day in February, 2010. The Big Space Holiday Club will open from 15-19 February if there is sufficient demand.

Should you require childcare on any of these days, please contact our staff by Friday 11 December. This will allow us enough time to arrange staffing if the Holiday Club goes ahead.

Interested parents and carers will be advised no later than 14 December as to whether the Holiday Club will be open on any of these days.

The Big Space Out-of-School Club still does not have enough people to take over as office bearers and committee members when the current committee stands down next term.

We would remind you that the club will not be able to operate without a voluntary parent management committee, and urge parents/carers who use the club to consider taking a role as office bearer or committee member.

The Big Space is a new childcare facility at Melrose Primary School. You will find us in the Annexe building at the school in the area known as ‘The Big Space’, hence our name!
